We’ve all experienced that immense desire to reshape our lives at some point. The actual method always comes as an afterthought.
In case you haven’t noticed, my activity on this blog dropped off over the holiday season. Two months later and I’m ready to jump back in the saddle.
All the Fun Things
When I find a good routine, I like to try and stick with it for as long as I can. Of course, over time our routines change and things become stale, prompting improvement.
At the moment I have a personal monopoly on the better half of my weekly schedule. I’m fortunate to have this and I’m putting it to good use with the colossal amount of projects and goals loaded onto my plate.
Chief among these is Altercation Magazine, a pet, and most probable vanity project that’s been in the pipeline for some time.
The magazine focuses on creative processes and perspectives, questioning what it takes to pursue a career that trails off the beaten path.
Our 3 person team looks forward to putting out more episodes for The Not Quite There Podcast, which is coming to iTunes in the coming days. We’re also excited to write and produce content for our website.
Apart from that, I’ve been noodling around with making videos. I made YouTube videos and promptly impulse deleted the channel and a bunch of other social media, which is a story for another post. I also went out for a day on the town for Chinese Lunar New Year and made a cute montage.
Room for Improvement
Agh. I may or may not be neglecting a gym membership. I’m not even going to put any excuses here or go into why I’m in a fitness rut. It’s all the usual reasons. You know exactly what I’m talking about.
Staying on health though, I’m counting down the seconds until my last ever dermatologist appointment. Once that’s over I’ll probably do a follow up to the post to the one I wrote about my acne last year. Dependent on whether I can stomach looking at old photos. The post would be incomplete without a final comparison between my face now and back when I first started on the pill Oratane.
Now that I’ve got Altercation Magazine for features, this blog will revert to university work and personal thoughts.
This means that in the future, posts like my interview with Young Scrolls will most likely be over on the Altercation website.
That’s it for this post but I’ll be back again with more thoughts soon.
